Sonetto VIII, the series flagship, is the largest floorstanding speaker of the collection. It features a 3-way design and a clean, industrial aesthetic that is warmed by the elegant proportions of the wood cabinets. The front baffle, an integral part of the cabinet, creates a seamless structure with the curved sides. The mid-ranges and mid-woofers are purpose-built using a special blend of natural fiber and air-dried cellulose giving the speaker its characteristic “Voice of Sonus faber.” The woofers have been designed from scratch as well, also featuring the Sonus faber die cast basket, but with a special aluminum alloy diaphragm allowing ultra-fast, tight, and yet deep bass performance.
