To celebrate 40 years of Rega, the acclaimed UK audio company have launched the RP40 turntable. Available from October 2013, the RP40 is a very limited edition model, with only a small quantity coming to Australia and global production already fully allocated.
The RP40 is based on Rega's multi award-winning RP3 turntable, but with significant enhancements including:
- A special edition white Elys40 cartridge
- A new red silicon drive belt with stable diameter for more uniform speed
- A custom power supply unit, hand-tuned to each turntable
- A titanium plinth, stainless steel balance weight and aluminium top brace
